Harriet White, age 92, of Pemberton Township went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Buttonwood Hospital, Pemberton.

Born in Hertford, NC to the late Cecil and Dora White, she lived in North Carolina, and Philadelphia before coming to Pemberton 3 ½ years ago. She was an avid reader, and loved to read spiritual books.

Harriet was predeceased by her husband Herbert White, a daughter Phyllis Thompson, and her granddaughter Wanda Brown . She is survived by her daughters Joyce Thornton and her husband Raymond of Maryland, Jacqueline Mercer and her husband Robert of Virginia, Diane Gorham of North Carolina, and Mary Drew and her husband Stanley Sr. of Pemberton; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may attend her viewing Saturday from 9am until the time of services at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church, 5 Scrapetown Rd, Pemberton, NJ.

Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton.
