Funeral Services

Traditional Funeral Service

Generally, there is a viewing the evening before and/or the day of the funeral service. The funeral service can either be held in the funeral home chapel or at a church of the families choice. This would be a time for the family and/or the public to pay their respects to the deceased. Most often, the casketed body is present, the casket may be open or closed. Following the funeral service, we travel to the cemetery for the burial or families may choose cremation. To help with the grief process, the family chooses this type of service organized by customs, tradition, and/or religion. This service can be as simple or as detailed as the family chooses.

Graveside Service

This service would be held at the cemetery. This is a good option for families that do not choose to hold a service at the funeral home or church. This service could follow the visitation at the funeral home.

Memorial Service

A service at the funeral home or church without the loved one’s body present. If the family has chosen cremation, this is the typical service that they would choose. Putting together picture collages, picture frames, or displaying other memorabilia from the loved one’s life is encouraged.
